Teaching is an activity of educating or instructing, imparting knowledge and skills to someone. The person who provides knowledge is called teacher. The teacher uses different methods, approaches and techniques for giving knowledge to his students.

  • Method is an orderly plan for the presentation of language material based on the selected approach.

  • Approach refers to theories about the nature of language and language learning that serves as the source of practices and principles in language teaching.

  • Technique is an implementational strategy or trick used to accomplish and immediate objective. In other words, it is a way of presenting language to students.

Teaching Approaches: is the personal way or philosophy of teaching, the pourpose of education, the roles of the teacher, the students, the administration and the parents.

Teaching Techniques  are the things or tricks that teachers apply in the classroom to get their job done. As we know teachers have a set of systems that they apply when is need. For example if the class is becoming distracted the teacher may use the technique of silent reading or shared reading to try to rope them again. Self-fulfillment

The aim of education is the development and fulfillment of the individual's human potential and the individual's humanity, so teachers not only impart the knowledge but also guide the students to reach their personal goals through empowering their skills and attitudes to face their lives with success.

"Self-fulfillment is the hability to make yourself happy and complete through your own efforts", according to this, self-fulfillment is reached only when we get our main goals by working hard, improving our skills to succeed, unfolding what is strongest or best in oneself, so that it represents the successful culmination of one’s aspirations or potentialities.
The purpose of education is the preservation and enhancement of knowledge and the development of character and personality in each student that will best prepare the individual for the conditions to face in the near future, also the purpose of learning is to help the individual grasp and create a self-identity as he or she learns integral facts about the universe and his or her role in it.

As future teachers we need to know how can we help our students to reach their potential and to help them to succeed in every situation they face. We need to know that we have to challenge them in order to take out all their talents and potentials, but to challenge them doesn't mean to press them; It means making our students think by themselves and perform to the best of their ability because the main purpose of teachers is that their students will be successful in all areas. Teachers must work towards creating an environment that supports students’ hopes and dreams and help them take the necessary steps for a successful future.

In addition, we have to motivate our students to follow their dreams and to teach them that making mistakes is good, because they will learn from it. Also we need to teach them that they don't have to give up and that they have to keep learning and improving to become successful people.

Furthermore, we need to help our students to meet their aspirations, but first they need to set reachable goals, then they have to focus on the things that they want to achieve first, then our job  as teachers is to guide the students so that they could fulfill their needs.

As teachers, we can be a source of inspiration to our students by developing a positive attitude and by creating an optimal learning environment. To inspire can be defined as providing reasons for action. On the basis of their qualities teachers can be a source of inspiration for students because inspiring teachers give students reasons to excel and when students are involved in helping to lead the subject matter, they become excited. Often, they become passionate and expressive in their learning.

I want to be a teacher because I'm pretty sure that I got the potencial and it's what I'm called to do, and basically because teaching is something special and when you teach you have the oportunity to change your students life, and it would be awesome to have the oportunity of being the nurturer of future generations.

TRANSFORMATIONAL PEDAGOGY

The transformational pedagogy is an act of teaching that is designed to change the learner academically, socially, and spiritually, so teaching is not only transfer knowledge to the students but also inspire our students to grow in many ways -academically, socially, and spiritually-, it means that teaching is not just giving a lesson, it's about inspire our students, and concern about them, and their potential, as it's said in the book "Transformational teaching includes a concern for a person’s ultimate welfare and potential, for teaching students as well as subjects."

"A holistic education that comes from the relationship built by sensitive teachers using pedagogy attuned to the academic, social and spiritual needs of learners" It means that teachers have to be sensitive with their students and the situations and problems that they are dealing with, there has to exist a good relationship between teachers and students based on respect, trust, and honesty; so that students will be able to grow in all aspects of their lives.

Acording to this model the feelings and attitudes of the students are a response to the work of the school and teachers to meet the needs that students have in the learning process, it means that the students would react acording to the teachers attitudes towards teaching.

The main goal of theaching is to form students capable of reaching succees, being independent and unique; it would impact a lot in the lives of pre-service and in-service teachers because teachers have to believe in the students' potential. In-service teachers could use this model to improve their classes and the rapport with their students also to reinforse their relationship with the students, because students are the center of teaching. And the pre-service teachers can use this model when they begin their profession, in order to form students with more potential, and with the ability to understand and to respond to their subjects and their situations at school and in their daily life, because what is need is to have teachers that become “transformers.” And transformational teaching is a higher standard for teachers, and it places more demands on learners’ potential.
